Very quick fix up of the Snippet Pixie GUI’s Makefile to pick up changes to Svelte files, and other source files deeper in the frontend source tree.

Then quickly upgrade the go.mod file for the GUI for use with Wails 2.1.0.

Before starting every work day, I do half an hour or so of noodling on side projects, making sure to keep them moving forward, albeit slowly.

Working on these side projects is how I learn new programming languages, frameworks and technologies.

Chances are I’ll fail miserably each and every day, so at the very least you can take comfort in seeing a so-called senior developer fumbling through some development with little success.

In this session I give a quick catchup on why I’ve not recorded in a while, how I re-implemented the way search and paste mode does its paste for compatibility with both X11 and Wayland.

I then fix a little irritation I had on how you would cancel using search and paste mode if you changed your mind.
